    Hi Folks;

    This is from the dozen CS6 Oil Paint samples on my website with accompaning message:

    This is a series of Oil Paintings done using the new "Oil Paint" filter in the new photoshop CS6. public Beta offered free by Adobe. There are 6 sliders to manipulate for painting, and I have listed the 6 settings I used for each version displayed underneath each painting. This Oil Painting done using photoshop CS6 Oil Painting filter I used 7.0, 4.0, 7.0,,5.0, 300, 0.7 in succession from top to bottom. Have fun. I will be happy to answer any questions you post.

    Keep smiling

    Gus

    Gus, very nice painterly look. I might reduce the effect ont he birds face if it were mine. I like the way you are experimenting with this!

    Nice image and application, Gus.

    Very nice repost. I presume you are getting your PS6 at a huge discount from Adobe for advertizing their product with great images!

    I am a little surpised that Denise didn't catch the tight LB with the tail. But I won't say anything about it!

    Hi Guys;
    Thanks for all the comments. This program will make some portions caddy wampus, so I go back to original, select that part, move it over the OP, and blend it in with a very light eraser setting, zero hardness & 25% opacity or lower. Mark, nice catch on the tail. Nope, no discount on CS6, just the pleasure of working on the original beta which is loaded with a lot of good features. In the old days Microsoft would reward Beta testers with a free copy of first release, but they say the economy can't support it any more. Even "Wheel of Fortune" is showing the effects with more bankrupts then ever. Though Pat & Vanna are still raking in their millions.

    Hi Gus, love the PB on this one...the repost works better for me too. I might evict the little black line beneath the bill if it were mine.

    Hi Andrew; Thanks for looking, yes, I agree with evicting black line beneath bill. A little bit of clone will do the trick. While I'm here, would like to mention that Perspective, under Crop icon is out of sight in CS6, can do all 4 sides in one operation. Had 5 photos of photos that needed doing, and was amazed how simple it was. Found tutorial on FREE video from Tim Grey. "10 Best features on CS6." Oil Paint was #1 Keep smiling . . . Gus
