I'm dying as I just got my camera back(after two long weeks) and found the repair did not work. This image was created at Long Key Nature Center right before sunset. As I was standing with the late sun directly at my back, this beauty banked for home (rookery). I liked the way the whole body banked except the head which stayed in normal flying position giving a full view of the face.

Spectacular pose and light. Great sharpness. An excellent image that would have been superb had you turned the camera to vertical...

Hi David, Could job with the crop, but as you do have one of the ends of the wing, this would be a spectacular no-brainer with Robert O'Toole's Quick Masks. His APTATS tutorial is available from BAA. And you could easily create a vertical by expanding canvas; do you know how to do that?
