    Nice bird and details. I would suggest to shoot from a lower angle and to crop 3:2 vertical.

    Really well done on the exposure and nice and sharp. Good idea about getting lower, even supporting on side of fence post. I would like a bit more room for feet.

    Excellent details in the blacks and nice HA and pose. Do you have a bit more room on the bottom? I like the little feather by his feet,

    Yes, nice job on the blacks. The tip of the bill blends into that particular bit of the background. I'd be tempted to clone a little of the greener grass behind the bill tip to bring it out. A little more space all around would be nice, as well.
