    Default White-throated Sparrow

Took this image last month while testing new lens. Before I could stop down for more images it took off. As a result of shooting wide open tail is OOF also tail was in shadow so did extra work to make it look Ok in this version.

    C&C Most welcome.

P.S. - Something is not working fine for me. When I save for web it looks less sharp.

    Hi,

There's a bit of fuzziness about it - was it a large crop, and/ or is there a bit of motion blur? Unfortunately the large area of oof branch is rather distracting. Nice bg and overall colors.

Seems sharp enogh for me, nice little sparrow and clean BG. The look-back pose is also welcome. I am not sure about the size of the perch, is too big for the little bird.

Pretty little sparrow and nicely captured. Sparrow seems sharp to me also. The back oof part of the perch is distracting, perhaps because of size and the big bend in it. Have a good time with the news lens.

Bird looks good but the is some PP artifacting around the tail. Did you clone something out around this area?

    Thanks for the comments everyone...

Gail, I have not cloned anything around tail...it was in shadow and when I opened it on monitor I could see that half of image had strange look but I guess it was because of shadow.

Hi Sachin, The sparrow looks sharp enough to me too, so no worries there. Detail looks good, and I like all the colours on him. Good complimentary colour to the BG, and Im fine with the perch, as I have 'large' perches with smaller birds this side. I would try and clean up around the tail.

Very nice shot. I really like the pose, detail is excellent, very nice background, and great comp.
    Well done.
