Yengo NP was accessed just south of Laguna NSW via Yango Creek Road best done by 4WD but can be done with 2WD. The Spotted Quail-thrush was found in dry sclerophyll forest on ridge tops with stoney outdrops and sparser ground cover. However as we were getting out of the vehicle a female Spotted Quail-thrush was giving herself a dust bath just off the road...no images taken but a great sighting. Yengo NP features features 7 different ironbark eucalypt species and 43 other eucalypt species with very interesting understory, however for a more detailed coverage go to NSW Department of Environment website at : http://www.environment.nsw.gov.au/Na....aspx?id=N0068
