    I love the berry in midair and the careful framing of the additional berries. The most offensive BKGR element is the y-shaped branch that stabs the bird in the chest on one end and rises into the sky at the other... Some good hard work could actually eliminate it (via the Patch Tool and some Quick Masks). Lastly I would lighten the mask above the eye and the iris.

    Great timing to capture the berry toss in mid-air! Nice pose and head angle, and good exposure. Agree that lightening the mask above the eye and the iris would make this already lovely image even better. You've posted some very good images of these birds, and I know you will be sorry to see them go!
