Default Technical problems with this forum...

I am not sure whether this is the right forum for this.
Is it just me who suffer from the way this new website is working? It takes ages before I manage to post one comment as when I click 'send' the site stop responding and I have to start all over again. It can happen many times. It has been going for quite a while and I thought it will be OK but it 's not.
Anyone else with the same problems?

Ofer, the site has been through some rough times lately but I have not seen this problem. It sounds more like a problem with the ISP maybe dropping the connection before BPN has a chance to respond or some such. I wonder if any others in the land of Oz are having similar issues? Chris will probably have an idea...

    Ofer,
Which style are you using. (I too have not seen this problem.) But there are issues with some styles. I use the Caot James style (see at the bottom left of your page).

Had same issue - sometimes I have had to re log in when I press send. I also have been unable to reply with quotes as the 'thing' just goes around and around. I just post without now. This seems to be the case since upgrade. May be an Australian thing?

For those having the problems, which style are you using? There are known issues with the capt james style. If you are using that style (I do) on windows (or linux) when replying to a post click the middle button to start a new window or new tab. (Mac users can tell us the equivalent, maybe command click?) If the site does not respond, click on the stop icon and reload the page in a different window/tab.

I'm also seeing slow issues on BPN and other sites for other reasons. Some of the issues involve tracking of the site by third parties. For example, if your browser shows what is loading (e.g. in firefox at the bottom of the page) you might see something like google-analytics.com of ajax.googleapis.com and it just sites there waiting for that 3rd party site. I've seen BPN hanging and waiting for facebook and some yahoo site. Seems like too many interdependencies to me and one weak link slows everything down. When I see that stall, I kill the tab/page and reload it again. Again, I'm having to do this on multiple sites, including such sites a united airlines to search for flights.

The last few days I have not seen these issues at all, so perhaps its is a regional thing?
