    I shot this around the first of the month. I had a lot of trouble with blown whites AFTER post processing. Kerry gave me a little insight into preventing that and this is the first chance that I've had to test it out.

    Sweet pose and exposure control. Nice job getting one without bands. I might crop down past the darker reflection on top.

    Thank you. I agree about the dark reflection. I didn't want to crowd the top but that may be preferable to leaving the "dirt streaks" (that's what it looks like to me)


    I considered cropping vertical but I didn't like the way it looked.

    I saw a few banded birds and even a few with radio tracking on them. I shot images of them for the refuge staff but didn't do anything in the way of processing them.
