    Default RW Blackbird at dawn

I have not photographed birds or posted much lately, as planned, but finally got to try out my new canon 300mm F2.8 IS lens. I absolutely love this lens for spontaneous handheld shooting. With 1.4 converter, ISO 800, F8

Classic RRB action and pose. I really like the sharpness and the cool 2 toned buttery BG.

Nice pose and colorful BG. I would like to see a little more room at the bottom but that's about it. Keep up the good work Jeff! :)

Great to see you here and out photographing. This is outstanding; a bit of fill flash might have improved it but barring that some SH/H might do the same.

Wonderful singing pose and I just love that purple bg. Fill flash might have opened up the shadows on the black underside of the bird, but a Shadow/Highlight should bring out a little more detail. Very nice image.

The bird is fine but that background rules. Good to see your work again.
