    After a long while, I finally managed to get outside yesterday with my camera and found this colorful House Finch plucking berries. I immediately thought of a painting style image! For processing, I cleaned up some berries on the right and cropped. Then I used multiple filters (Topaz Simplify, Topaz Adjust and pb/oil) on separate layers each with mask and painted over to open-up the underlying layers. Changed opacity and also added adjustment layers for saturation (slightly desaturated the bg) and curve (added contrast). Hope you like it...

    Indranil, I like the effect and I think the destauration for the background worked well.
