Interesting Pose.
You might try cropping out the bright background twig on the right.
The color, sharpness and exposure look good to me.
You did a great job. I have tried many times to approach kingfishers and they are always gone before I'm close enough.

Very nice shot. I really like the pose and the perch. The oof branch is a tad distracting maybe toning it down a bit.
