Hello everyone, it's been some time since I was here last. Here's one of a Tattler I took about a month ago. I quite like the pose, but I wonder if the water is just a tad too blue?

Slight crop, I can't remember what other PP work I did.

Composition is good except it would be nice to have a tad more space at the top.
You also might try pulling down the highlights a little and boosting the clarity (mid-tone contrast).
I like the blue and if you reduce the overall exposure it will become deeper and darker, so the bird will stand out even more.
    Nice capture.
    Thanks for posting.

Like the way the foot is raised . . . the blue water is perfect for me . . . the bird could be a bit more "contrasty" -- darker and sharper.

    Thanks guys for the suggestions.

Here is a repost with less highlights and more mid tone contrast, what do you think?
