Nice light and good detail on the bird. I'd consider a horizontal crop, as I feel there's too much canvas up top. And I wish the head was angled more towards the viewer.

Dough, believe me i would have loved a little more head turn, i actually have quite a few of them, but this is the only one shot with the crest.
