    Default Eurasian curlew

We are at the moment on Texel/Nederlande and could photograph him this morning.

What a stunner, Frank. The detail is exquisite. Super low angle, background, and image quality. That is one beautiful bird. I would be tempted to clone out the one OOF brownish stalk under his chest, as well as at least one of the ones touching the legs.

Good heavens Frank, what light! Beautiful light, beautiful bird! I love everything here except the o.o.f blade poking up just in front of the curlew's leg? I imagine that might be a tricky outage, but who knows?

excellent shot Frank. low angle, sweet BG, sharp details...well done. DOF coverage is perfect. I feel its a little tight at the top.

Excellent image Frank! I like the sharpness, details, low angle and BG. I would like a little more room up top as well.

Beautiful light and bg Frank. I am a little distracted by the branch under the chest(maybe even just shorten it halfway) but don't mind the ones at the feet.

Beautiful capture ,Frank.I love the clean bg and the low angle.Would remove the grass above the general grass line and would add some canvas at the top

    Frank,
This is one of your nicest. I would definitely clone out the stalk under his chest to make this a 10 out of 10 for me!

Very special image indeed. The light here is unreal and the bird really stands in the clean BG. I am also tempted to clone the dry grass blade below the chest.

Hi Frank, I really like the light in this, together with the overall detai,l colours and sharpness. Your repost had addressed the grass under the chest area, and agree, a little more room on top will work too. A slight head turn towards you would have been first prize.
