    From AK last week. Found this eagle perched on a great rock in afternoon light. Shown full frame.

    Lovely pose and light. I like the added color of the lichens. I am not sure if you are shooting from a boat and so SS limited. If not then more dof might have been an another idea to see bg in focus.

    What a stunning portrait. The lichen on the rocks really make this one pop, and the perch is perfect. If I were going to print this one, I think I would clone that lighter portion in the ULC just so that it conformed better.

    I like the pose, perch, sharpness and details. I agree with Marina on cloning the ULC. Great image!

    Hi Dale, great pose and location, whites handled nicely with good depth in the plumage. Like the way the bird is looking into frame.

    Was this at Kodiak Dale?
