I searched through all my files, for an image I could post, to fit this weeks theme....but I don't have any of people, (lots of places, though) I just don't take them.......

So instead, here's a photo I took the other day of a Bohemian Waxwing (my kind of people) munching on some berries, I created two layers..

One of the original and fotosketcher Pastel of the original....adjusted the opacity to get just the look I wanted, copied in the original eye and here it is....

    Thanks for looking....

Lovely, gentle image Paul. Your waxwing looks kind of puffed up, from the cold temperatures?

Hi Paul, I love the waxwings, we only get the cedar variety "down here". Love the feeding behavior and the way the bird almost melts into the background. Nicely done sir!

Great composition and processing Paul. The muted colors add to the soft feel of the image. Very nice.

Nice soft "luminious" effect and I like the pose with the berry. We don't see them in MS either. Cedar waxwings are one of my favorite birds here.

Nice comp and light, Paul. If it were mine, I would back off on the eye a bit - it looks a bit bug-eyed to me. But I love the pose, branches and berries. TFS!
