This picture fits the theme as you can see it has some molting patches.
My chice of fstop/shutter speed wasn't the best for this particular shot
but I was shooting quickly moving objects before and after that needed the speed.

Hi,

Love the pose, and the water droplets. Nice and low - level with the bird. Colors, especially the head and legs, look a just little too saturated, and perhaps the markings on the bird are just a little over-sharpened. I'd like to see a bit more room on the right, and a slightly less tight crop overall. But these are only minor issues, and overall an excellent image.
