nice pose and details. I would run selective NR on the BG to reduce the noise and soften the bokeh a bit.

    displays the habitat nicely

I really like the environmental feel to this image. The iron deposits in the rocks are very cool and add a nice touch of color. The BG has that "ground glass" appearance- It should not be noise at an ISO of 320- and I would blur it a bit. Is the subject distance correct . 65 m?

    Hi Gail,

When I try to reply with quotes it just doesn't work??? No I don't think that distance was correct. Eagle was fairly close but not that close!! Not sure what we're seeing but there's no noise on a 1d4 @ iso 320

The OOF BG always shows grain, especially if you sharpen the photo , even at ISO 100 with any Canon camera. I always run NR on BG, regardless of ISO.

Very cool shot. Love the environment and the look up. I agree about NR on the bg may soften it a little to seperate it from the bird more too.

I really like the spread wings & tail, the visible feet, the BG & the HA. An excellent image.
