Kruger National Park, South Africa. One more frame from this leopard sighting. Tried a tighter portrait crop and cloned out some vegetation in the bg.

    Stephen,

I cannot begin to say how truly marvelous this is, even better than your last one which I would not have thought would be possible.

What a wonderful sighting this must have been, you were truly blessed, and luckily for everybody captured it perfectly.

What a marvelous image. When I look at it, I am really glad that I am not a gazelle.

Stephen - well done. The pov and head on look just put this over the top.

Lot of good things to like about this, except for the disconnected tail end. How about a rather extreme crop??

Prefer this pose and intent gaze to the previous one, Stephen! Fabulous setting as already mentioned.
I don't mind the tailtip...but do think you could tone down yellows a tad? I also see a hint of green coming through on the leopard's RHS (our LHS as viewed), but will have to check tonight on the "better monitor" even though this one has been calibrated recently.

Welllll, things are slow, so just to "defend" my crop .
The leopard's eyes/stare/look is so intense (which I love) that you fixate on it. Also, the leopard is coming down and you are below it. The leopard is in a stronger physical position than you are. This POV and the stare is emphasized by a tight crop. Like I did, right ??

Lovely sighting and awesome pose, agree with morkel on colours and not sure if its just me bu the head seems a little soft as if there is a little movement in it.
