    Sweet action shot Karl.

I don't know if its my screen, but I'm seeing something that 'looks' like
rounded spots...flares...dust spots...not sure what to call them. I see 3 above the
egret on the right where the background starts to turn brown and on
the left edge right across from the others.

Thanks for your comments on the round spots, Doug.
I don't know what they are.
    How about the picture?
Did you like it or you did not?

Sorry Doug. I just noticed that in fact you did comment on the picture.
I guess I haven't fully got opened my eyes yet and did not have my cofee yet. I'm about to be heading out and it is already late.
Thanks again and don't worry about the spots. I don't.

Oh yeah, loved the picture. I really love the expression of the Egret and the perfect
capture of his food right in the middle.

The round spots seem to be the reflection of the water . But amazing timing here . The fish in between the beak and the water drops just add to this image . The subtle colours in the BG also enhance the beauty !!

Hi Karl. Great shot! The focus is obviously on the fish and action and that's what really makes this one. I know the water droplets add to the action but they almost seem like flaws to me (not sure what I would do about them though!).

Great action shot and I like the water drops flying everywhere. Perfect placement of the unfortunate minnow.

Nice subject and action. Great timing even with the high continous burst rate of today's cameras. Those circles mentioned by Doug look like far specular highlights. I'm not a fan of bright white water movement around the subjects...sometimes unavoidable especially in overcast conditions. Overall very nice.

Hi Karl, great timing to capture the catch just before going down the hatch. Good DOF on the egret, sharp, and the flying droplets add interest.

Great timing and pose Karl! I'm ok with the BG.....but suggestions above are VG if they fit in your PP'ing ethics. Very nicely done!

Love the soft light, the moment (timing!), low angle and (can you believe it) the droplets in this one Karl.
If anything I might add a hint of midtone contrast to add some "pop"...
