The weather has been so lovely, today was 22C (72F), unseasonably warm for March.

My friend's Bill, Mike and I went out to photograph "whatever" this afternoon, just soaking up the warm weather. We walked for about an hour and photographed an overwintering Carolina Wren, then found an early Wood Duck.
Bill decided he was going to leave for home..and I said "What's the Rush" to which he replied "It's not like were going to see a Carolina Wren riding on a Wood Ducks back", then left for home.

Well I didn't get the Carolina Wren on the ducks back but I came close...

Sent this image via email to him...

Have a Great Day folks, Spring is here....

Before we go any further, please confirm that this is real.... If not, you got me big time and did a great job with the REFL....

Congrats. You sucked me in. At least I had enough brains to ask....

Paul, this cracked me up! But knowing Carolina wrens I wouldn't have been surprised if you'd actually seen one doing this.

Paul, I am still not sure what is going on. You added the Wren?, the reflection? Very fun image and you really "still" have me taking a second look.

I am pretty sure that he put the wren on the duck's head. And did an excellent job of it to boot.

I did add the wren...which would not have looked right without the reflection, so I added it also....so sorry for the confusion, I am on the road, so this is first chance I've had to respond.

I knew the chances of that being real were almost nil but you did such a great job adding the bird that it LOOKS real. Super work Paul.

Awesome work Paul! We sure have been having crazy weather lately. Yesterday was +25..the warmest day on record for the 22nd of March around these parts.
