    Very nice angle, details and BG. The light looks very harsh and it would have been good if the bird would have faced you more.

    JP,
    One thing you might consider in the future is photographing on your sun angle. That is, position yourself so that the sun is at your back and your own shadow pointed straight at the subject. This eliminates uneven shadowing. I agree with Axel and Mike that a head turn towards the camera would have made the image, as presented, far stronger. Cheers!
