Really nice portrait. The detail in the whites is superb. Great BG and I love the detail in the lores and water droplets on the bill. I like the comp as well but can see this with a bit more room in front of swan,

Beautiful job, Jonathan. The detail is amazing, feel like I could just reach out and touch the different textures. I might try to lighten the eye just a little bit so it stands out more. Awesome portrait.

    Beautiful portrait with excellent detail!

Agree about crop ... would like more room on right and/or less on left.

I like the crop and the exposure.
I might sharpen the tip of the beak just a bit more.

Looks like comp-wise its a toss-up! I would prefer more room at right and below. Amazing details and good exposure. Love what appears to be the tongue sticking out. I just wish the whites weren't as yellow as they are...

Hi Jon, you have been turning out some great images recently, and this is no exception. Good DOF throughout, well exposed on the blacks, and the slight protruding tongue adds interest. Before reading Dan's comment on the 'yellow plumage' I also thought it is a touch on the yellow side.

Great feather detail here! No one's mentioned it, but I love seeing the tongue. I also would like roughly half the room on the left.

Thanks again for the C&C everyone, I attach a rework as suggested... looks like I could have popped the blacks a little more this time.
