    I found this Chipping Sparrow singing his lungs out in spite of high winds
    Canon EOS 20D
    Canon 500 4.5L IS
    1/400 @ f8

    Comments and critiques appreciated.

    Hi Jim,

    This image suffer from several basics. Looks out of focus in my monitor. The composition could be improved by going vertical. I also see several sensor dust spots and a lot of noise that you should remove before posting the image. With that said, you captured the bird just in time as the beak was open.

    Keep them coming!

    Thanks, Max, the orginal is a lot sharper and I tried the image with a vertical crop and it looks better. Dust spots are a killer and I took care of them also. Appreciate the comments and critique.

    I like the pose, Jim, but I would second the comments Maxis made. Also, I note that your file size is only 17.6 KB. You are allowed to post files up to 150 KB here. I'm guessing your image would look a lot better if posted at a larger size.

    Love the pose! Good head angle. Would love to see this larger, as I think the small size made the image quality poor.
