Still down in Florida running my second tour.....but wanted to post a spoonbill from my day out with James on the Hopptie Deux. My clients and I had a blast and I still have one more morning to go. I have been out with James quite a few times before but if you are looking for spoonbills.....you really need to get out with him! I have over 1000 keepers from a few morning out with him and you can see more images by following the link below my signature to my blog.

Lovely image! Beautiful pose, light and colours! I think it needs some CCW rotation.

    Hi Roman,
CCW needed and already mentioned. I like the full wingspread and the raised foot. I like the complete separation of the head from the wings. Nice BG as well. Good shot,
    Gail

Nice timing on the wing spread and you composed it nicely in the frame. Would agree with others on the rotation.

Love that pose and the light was obviously terrific. It was nice to meet you and have a chance to shoot with you while you were down here, Roman!

    Roman:

Sorry to be so late! A lovely young spoonie, great light, separation from BG. I think perhaps the reason you didn't rotate it was the alignment with the top of the wings to the frame edge.

Glad you are having a good time!

    Cheers
