    Taken about an hour ago in my yard.....spring has made it to NJ!!!:) Will go to the f2.8's in the coming weeks. Canon Mark lll and the Sigma 180 macro and the MT24 twin lights set manually at 4 to 1 ratio and also at minus 1 &1/3 at ISO 800, f29 for 1/100th sec.

    A nice clean composition Roman and I like the lighting effect you have achieved on the Dafodil.

    Nice backlit effect. I like the simple comp. Also nice to see you trying to you exparamenting with manual flash settings, but I dont think the ratio setting would do much if anything here since the backlight is still the main light source. Usually 99% of the time when I have used Canon twins I turn one light off.

    Flower could use USM to bring out some of the edge details.

    Very nice usage of light, Roman. It really adds translucency to the petals. I like it. Well done.

    Hey Roman, backlighting adds a cool effect.
