    Lying flat in the crap

    Ev +.33 ISO 800 1/640 f5.6 almost full f
    7D 100-400
    NR Topazzed, levels set, few brights burned 3%

    Richard:

    The palm fronds (?) provide a distinctly different look to the image, interesting lines. The bird is sharp, well exposed, good head angle. The lighting is very effective for me.
    The BG is a little busy, and perhaps a bit distracting, although the oranges pick up the leg color.

    Def. a different Turnstone shot.

    Definately not the usual turnstone image. The bird is well exposed and sharp, love the perch, wish the bg was a little different.
