After battling these relentless little midges for hours in the garden this morning, I decided to share my vision of what they really look like when they're attacking.

Original was one of my paint drop images.

Very cool & bizarre looking creature, Maureen. Great colors and really like the detail and fine illustrated look to this. Looks good against the clean white BG. Very creative!

This a fabulous illustration! Love the shape, colors and detail! When they and Deer-flies bite me it makes a big ol' red itchy lump for at least two days.

Hey Maureen, Creative and colorful. Just to confirm, this did not start as a photograph of an actual bug, correct?

Thanks Maureen. I am so jet-lagged from Japan that I wanted to make sure that I was understanding correctly. In Lady D's https://store.birdsasart.com/shop/item.aspx?itemid=305 she teaches folks how to create images from a blank canvas!!!
