This is the alter in the painted church in Shiner, Texas. Cropped and converted to B&W...sure looks different in color...

Chris, I didn't save a color version of this image when I processed it. I'll have to go back and find the file I used and process it...should I post it in this thread or start a new one?

Jim, Nice job with this one, I like the B&W for this but the color is lovely too. My only thought is that I wish the one (angel?) at the top was included in the composition. That may not have been possible with a single image but maybe a stiched vertical if you get a chance to go back. Very nice and thank you for sharing this.

Thanks Chris and no problem! I like the color too... the only lens I had with me was 24mm. I could have had a real good time with a long zoom...a good reason to go back for another visit.

I, too, prefer the B&W, which is unusual for me. I like the crispness and clarity. You might consider cropping out the feet and cloud of the top angel. Nicely done.

Thanks for the suggestions Denise! The only software I use is NX2 so I can't get too fancy with my processing.

Jim, I like both versions. What I like most about it is the crispness of the overall image with sharp lines. Nicely done!

Really nice, Jim. The color version is beautiful, but I really prefer the B&W because it emphasizes all the subtle details. I too wish you could evict the feet on the cloud
