    Default Hummingbird - Preening

Shot with Pentax K5, and Pentax DA 300mm lens.

In LR I adjusted for some noise, and added a bit of sharpness. No specific adjustments on the bird. I think it works best as a vertical (also because that eliminates some distracting leaves). Another adjustment I may also make is to blur the background a bit if it seems too "busy". Open to suggestions on that.

    f/5.6, 1/800 sec., ISO 1250

    Comments welcome.

Nice action captured with the bird . Exposure on the bird look ok , but the BG is a tad bit brighter than ideal .

The little hummer is nice and sharp, nice behaviour. I too think the BG is a little bright.

Thanks Rakesh for the feedback. It is a bit on the bright side - should be easy to adjust in LR.

Thanks Jack - looks like you and Rakesh are on the same page with the background. As I mentioned to Rakesh, should be a pretty easy fix.
