    Default HDR Vintage Car

I went to my first vintage car show which was at Dudley Farm last weekend. This was an HDR image which I converted to B&W using Nik Silver Efex and then Nik Color Glamour Glow. I'd appreciate any comments about the composition, etc. since this was my first car image and I wasn't sure how it looks in B&W. I'll post the color version later.
    Thanks for your help

Cheryl, I really like the conversion and the composition is interesting. You have four strong elements of the car in your image - the tire, the fender, the grille, and the license plate establishing the vintage. I like it a lot! How did you get the star effect?

Cheryl, I like this a lot, especially the conversion. Did you use StarEffects for the starbursts? Neat idea!

Steve, Kerry and Denise - thanks for your comments. I appreciate them especially since I was way out of my element and although I liked it I wasn't sure of myself. I didn't use StarEffects - they were created by stopping down to f/28. I had fun with the cars and won't pass up the next car show

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

Agree with the above. I think you hit it on this one.

Excellent composition, Cheryl! I like the perspective and combined with your processing, it brings out so much of the vintage character. Stopping down to f28 gave the depth and I love the starburst! TFS.
