Well its Saturday again so time for my weekly pilgimage to HCT, and one of my usual subjects of "Frodo" the Tawny Eagle and his aerial duels with a small piece of chicken thrown into the air for him to try and catch.
To be honest he misses it more than he gets it, but I love the acrobatics he pulls as he keeps his eyes glued to the prey.
Not my usual 500mm this week as a friend of mine was trying it out, and i got to have a play with his EF 300mm f2.8 IS.....which I must say is a fantastic pece of glass.....and if I had the money :( i would get one tommorow.

The next lens that I buy will also be the 300mm f/2.8. Frodo looks like he is giving his all for the food....and his performance. Again...another interesting midair flight pose. Each image that you post make me more appreciative than the last of their flight abilities. Well done...as always.
