    A bird that are often walked past a bit like a seagull.

    1dMK4, 500mm HH, 1/2000 @ 5.6, ISO 640.

    Almost FF.

    Striking fellow, BG plays well with his skin/bill color, good eye contact, sharp.

    I like the comp. Perhaps can tease just a sliver more detail out of the whites.

    Hi Tom, this guy is very similar to our sacred Ibis. Good HA, and good detail on the head and bill. If I had to compare him to ours, I would maybe add a bit more black to the head and bill, but there again, Im just comparing, so I could be totally wrong.

    Lovely portrait. No ibises here in Toronto. Here in Toronto we have ring-billed gulls. I tend not to walk right past them because I find them to be most photogenic. If they were white ibises instead I would lose my mind and never recover it. Thanks kindly for sharing this one...

    Nice low angle and seems like the perfect ha. I really like the crystal clear eye. Certainly not a bird I would walk by either.

    Really like this one; Ibis make great subjects but of course we dont see them in UK
