This is a rework from an image I took on Mt. Haleakala on Maui a few years ago after a heavy storm. I had no PP skills back then, but always liked the scene.

I love the play of light on the seemingly stark scene Ian.
I would have liked a bit more detail in the foreground, perhaps some gentle dodging can extract it for you?

Thanks for commenting, Morkel. Let me go back and see if I can squeeze out a bit more FG detail.

Most of the Haleakala images I've seen have been sunrise, but I couldn't get my kids out of bed for that :) Even so, I got lucky and got up there just as a storm was ending -- I'm trying to rework some of my rainbow images now.

I really like how the focus draws you in.
    A very nice scene.
