    This is an image looking up the main mast of the HMS Bountytaken when it visited Florida a few years ago.

    Modifications in CS4, DAP and Topaz included; Conversion toB&W in PS, DAP Aquarell, Topaz Lens Effects and other normal PS imageadjustments.

    Very nice, Mark. I like the perspective... it has a 3D feel to it. I like the b&w conversion. Nicely done.

    I like the high contrast effect and POV, Mark. I'm glad you told us what it was because I wouldn't have known otherwise. Great image.

    Mark, I'm glad you told us what it was too. It makes a great abstract. The contrast and stark look is appealing.

    Can you imagine trying to climb up this mast, with all the ropes and pulleys...especially in a raging sea.

    Steve and Denise, I figured I should identify the source, for all you land lubbers here!

    Paul, I can't imagine it, as I have an advance case of fear of heights. While I love sailing and sailboats, I could never climb the mast. But from the deck, I can appreciate those that do during a storm to save the ship and their lives, though to me climbing it is akin to losing their life!
