    Default Morphing

Having lacked the creative spirit lately, I decided to push some envelopes and try to find something interesting to produce. This image came out of an idea I had of morphing a horse into a zebra but grew into a bit of a production. The zebra on the right came from Ngorongoro, the ones in the background from Ndutu and the Arab on the left is from our paddock. Wasn't sure whether to call it 'Recognition', but settled with 'Morphed'. Interested in what thoughts you have.

Wonderful effect, Hilary! Magnificent animals. The balanced comp really allows each of the three main characters to add their unique traits. It's fun to see where your ideas took you.

Hilary, There isn't a thing I would change. I love the concept, the processing the poses and the details. I even love the frame/border. Great job!

Thank you everyone, I appreciate the feedback. I may post a second version as a sleepless night last night had the ideas 'morphing'. I'll see if it works in the next few days.

Very creative concept, Hilary, and you pulled it off perfectly! I love the textures and toning, and the OOF zebras in the BG is a nice touch. Nice work!

Love the creativity and imagination, Hilary! Like the poses you picked, warm tones, and OOF BG kind of gives a dreamlike divide from past into the future. Your morphing process is really believable - nice work. Look forward to seeing further evolutions.

You got me curious about the subject and I found this interesting link: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases...0928084511.htm
