    Here is another image from our trip to Svalbard in 2009.

    Ken,

    I think for this one a bit more room in the FG bottom on the crop to show more water would be an asset to the image to better ground the floating ice.

    I like the arc of the ice from the left, to right, up and back left - a good leading line. I like the sunlite FG and darker BG - adds depth to the image.

    Robert,

    Thanks for your comment and suggestion, in this case there was no more water at the bottom just more jumbled up ice.

    I love the textures and lines in these scapes. I agree with Robert, but having read your reply there's not much to be done. I do wonder if opening up the shadows a bit would be beneficial?
