It's never easy to find the right words in composing something like this, especially given that I spent a whole of Sunday photographing with him, but it is with very deep regret that I have to tell you all that Todd Frost died yesterday evening from a heart attack.
Although not that active recently, he was a valued and very well respected member of the Forum. It was a real privilege to have met him and to have spent all day yesterday in his company - along with Jamie Douglas - photographing snowy owls. It was an honour to have been able to hear about his passion for photography and his aspirations for the future in his hope of visiting locations around the world, from the Tigers of india to the Lions of Africa and also his love of Black bears & the Wolves of Yellowstone which will now sadly not be able to be renewed or fulfilled.
The memories shared and images taken yesterday will be even more precious and, at times, extremely painful to process for both Jamie & myself.
A great guy and a huge loss. I know you will join me in sending out our heartfelt condolences to his wife and family and to all those that knew him.
Steve
