    I took this shot in St. Cloud where we stayed for a few days.
    Going out on Lake Toho to shoot Snail Kites did not work out, as the weather turned really ugly.
    It did not stop us from spending a few hours along the lakeshore in St. Cloud.
    Fortunately we had winter clothing with us and were dressed as we had been in Canada for the time being.
    (Relatively large crop.)

    I was totally skunked on this species Karl. I'll try for it next year! This looks like a juvi/female. I like the wing position and intent stare below. Pretty good detail for HH too! Strong lighting produced that sharp shadow on the wing - I'll bet there is a pp technique to help soften that.

    Hi Karl, I like the colours on this guy, and you have captured what seems like a good hovering pose. Pops nicely from the sky BG.
