Image is from Norway. This image was taken with an older converter, so I'm not completely satisfied with the sharpness. I love the light that is early in the morning. So I send this picture. Data: 1D MK III, 500mmL converter 1.4, ISO 100, 1/1000, F 5.6.

awesome details, pose and sharpness is not bad at all. I like the perch. I wish the BG was uniform but I can see from where you were standing you picked the best angle. I would remove the band.

Sharpness looks really good Geir. Very good IQ on the bird, agree with removing the band, and wish the BG was uniform, nice perch.

For me it is wrong to remove the band. I am very fond of the definition of National Geographic. "Keep it real"

Nice job on isolating the head from the bg boulders. Well done on the exposure and detail looks fine to me.

I usually prefer my subjects with no bands, but I'm OK leaving them in if that's what I get (BTW, if you can read the data on it sometimes you may find out where and when it was banded). Sharpness looks OK as posted, and I like the light and colours. I'd tone down the BG rock in front of the face, and I do wish for a better HA here.

Hi Geir, well exposed, and overall nice and sharp. Well placed in the frame, and I too wish for a more uniform BG.

Nice caputure, Geir. I am ok with the band, it's a common thing IMO. The bg is a little distracting, would have been nice if the bright spot on the right was not there, but! The bird seems to need a little CW rotation, it looks to be off balance and would fall backwards to me.
