Another macro image of Iris. Played around with color adjustment using Hue & Saturation, and Selective Color in Photoshop, as well as levels & contrast. Added some Topaz Detail, including Soft Looking setting, and some blur to BG.

Makes me want to slide inside. Beautifully handled, Brendan. Love the colors and subtle tones. I like how the BG blend is so smooth and how it repeats in shading. Well done!

    Brendan,

Greetings. Very cool! Reminds me of "The Wave" photos (landscapes of sandstone pattern near Coyote Buttes in Utah). Along those lines wish for some pattern in the upper left.

Really like the color. Good show!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Hi Brendan, this is awesome. You broke this down into simple color and graphic elements for a very effective composition. Very nicely done!

Brendan, This is really lovely, I might be tempted to take a slice off the bottom if it were mine but I just love the simple design!

Makes ME want a big old fried egg! This is gorgeous Brendan! The comp and the lines that lead you through the white areas of the flower are great.
