Purple on Birch

I don't get that many Purple Finches so I was pleased to be able to get some shots of this female this morning.

I like the pose, exposure, and BG. Wish the perch was a smaller diameter, but the birch bark looks great. Tempted to want more room above, and a bit less below.

Beautiful pose and wonderful bg. The birch bark adds a lot of interest......I really don't mind birds on larger perches myself. Agree that putting the bird lower in the frame would have been better, but a lovely image as presented.

Hi Mike, very nice image, crisp and detailed, like the BG, as per above slightly lower would give the bird more room I think.
