    Default Preening Snowy Egret

This image was taken at Little Estero about a month ago. I thought the snowy egret looked rather comical with those big yellow feet! I used highlights/shadows to save the white feather detail, and cleaned up the end of the beak just a bit. This was cropped from a vertical, so I had to expand the canvas to the left. Any C&C welcomed!

Just about perfect - the exposure, light, and detail are absolutely superb, the pose with those plumes sticking up and that beautifully sharp eye - can't fault it - one to be proud of.

Pose, eye contact, bird placement, exposure, sharpness - all superb. The crest and the matching tail feathers are cherry on top. Love it.
