Robert - Nice to see an animal not often posted on here. Looks like conditions weren't the best and that your subject wasn't very cooperative. I would have preferred a raised head or better HA and probably a lower POV if that was possible. The high ISO has introduced some noise particularly evident in the ULC. Any more shots from the sighting?

Hi Robert, not sure what you have done in your workflow, but this is much better than previous. Nice detail and I like the texture of the 'armour platting'. I still think its a little too saturated and you could apply some NR to the BKG. A portrait crop also works well and tights up the image too, IMHO.

To get the best from your image it should be converted to sRGB. The Link below will help explain how to do this.

    Well done.

Links that might help, note resizing is now 250kb.

Agree with Rachel on the angle and low point of view, but i do find the textures and patterns of the armour very interesting.
    Thanks for sharing

An animal we rarely get to see images of.
This works as a "I saw an armadillo" image, but I have to agree with some of the others that the POV is less-than-ideal and I would've liked to see more of the face.
Steve has made some valuable suggestions as usual.
Looking forward to more of your images, Robert!
