very nice Karl, it has a nice 3D look. great sharpness and details, I think you can recover a bit more detail in the blacks at the base of the far wing.

Outstanding Karl, just a great dive bomb pose. It really does pop from the BG.

Nice capture, Karl. Good sharpness, exp, comp and bg. I might remodel the bluish blob in the lower right bg a little, it kinda looks like an oof person! Great image though!

    Thanks, Dan, thank you all.
You are right about the blueish image.
It almost has a shape of a guy in blue. We know it is the sky through the foliage of an OOF tree but still could be distracting.
You really have to watch all the little details and still it is never perfect. Oh well, maybe next time.
My best picture is always the one I haven't taken yet. That's what keeps me going.

Hi Karl, tack sharp, with a great diving flight pose. Well exposed on the whites, and agree with trying to get some more out of the far wing. That BG rocks.

Beautiful look to the skimmer. I would get rid of the blue too, along with the white spots on the beak. The bright white under the wing doesn't bother me as you got the touch of yellow there.
