Default Limpkin In golden evening Lilght

    HI,

This is an old picture revisited after joining this forum. What do you think?

Rebel XTi + Sigma 50-500, @ 500, 6.3 ISO 400, 1/500, Cropped for comp and a tree trunk in front of the bird cloned out.

    C&C welcome, requested and appreciated.

You took this in very nice light. You have a good head angle on the bird, and I like your vertical composition with the bird's leg lift. There appears to be some motion blur in the bird's head. I am guessing that you probably needed a little higher speed above 1/500sec to get the head in sharp since the bird was moving and you were at 500mm.
