Thia Brown Hyena is just emerging from the den. Light was not exactly conducive.

I like the back lighting and rim lighting Ken. I do not like the line of OOF whatever it is in the FG. I find that distracts my eye and hinders my appreciation of the image.
Agreed with Robert here , He summed it ups nicely

Ken - I also agree with Robert's comments. Also this doesn't look as sharp as your other posts.

Thanks for your comments the"oof" bit is the edge of the den, which I included to make sense of the overall image, without it you would not know the pup was just emerging from the den.
But nevertheless here is a repost
Hi Ken,
I couldn't tell the OOF bright thing was the den. This looks much better, The bright light on the head needs reducing a little.
I really dislike hyenas but this is so cute.

Cute little guy, almost looks like a flying fox. The OOF line in the OP didn't bother me too much but I think it does look better with it gone. I still get a sense of emerging from the den based on the slope in the BG but then I see this alot when I photograph prairie dogs.
