Superb Image. I really like the very low angle on this image. The Dunlins catch really adds interest. My only comment is I find the brown mark in the foreground a little distracting. Still a wonderful image though.
Beautiful capture of this dunlin, Geir. I really like the beautiful BG, sense of water and motion, and the crispness and warm colors of the bird. The prey is a great bonus. I might tone down the brown area.
This is one where you probably got too low.
Just a tad higher and the FG would be better.
The bird looks nice though and I like the undulating surface.
I like this a lot, Geir. The frothy water, the lovely bg colors, the bird placement and the food.
I would have upped the ISO for more DOF here, but f4 didn't hurt you here at all.
Very nicely done.
I agree that you may have been too low. I would love to be able to see the whole of the back foot rather than it having a cut off look due to the sand ripple. The brown area is distracting as it is so close to the bird. Love the birds pose and the capture of the food item.
Wonderful image. I personally like the super low angle except for that brown spot in the foreground. Excellent pose, real nice light, and its food is a great bonus.
Well done.
