Very nice, Mark. I really like the composition with the white bg. I personally would have preferred for a bit more contrast... the dark border seems to overpower the image just a bit. Wonderful processing and TFS.

Mark, I've been to that lighthouse. I like the grey and white with the black border color scheme you have going on. Indranil makes some good suggestions. The backgound looks a little pixelated but I am on my laptop so I can't be sure.

Thanks Denise and Indranil for viewing and comments.

Presume you could read the text Denise, I may have picked the right color white for you this time ... I hope!

Glad you could see it live Denise, I use to live in Jupiter and enjoyed many days of viewing it. One day there was a full moon directly behind it, but ... no camera and had to get to an appointment. Never saw that again, though I tried!

As for the contrast, I liked the effect when I did the DAP treatment, which was "fog like" so I left it that way. I did increase the contrast a little, but didn't want to make it full B&W and ruin the DAP effect. But thanks for the comment, understand where you are coming from.

I'm a big fan of lighthouses, Mark. Great example and I like how you isolated and simplified it. TFS!!

Thanks all for viewing and comments. Appreciate it.

Denise, welcome back. Sorry you were excluded from some, but now I know the right shade for your puter!

Paul, The Jupiter lighthouse is on the Florida east (Atlantic) coast, in Jupiter, Fl (north of the West Palm Beach area) just south of the south causeway to Jupiter Island, the riches community in America (home of Tiger Woods and others of like funds) Stop by and sit awhile. We lived down there when we first moved to Florida, due to my wife's and my job locations. We have since moved to the Florida Gulf coast north of Tampa. Fewer Yorkers and Canucks on this coast!

Clean simple design compliments the vertical lines of the lighthouse.

Hi Mark, nicely composed...I like the framing for this one...agree on a little more contrast for the lighthouse though.

Nice composition, Mark, and like the simplicity and B&W. Good suggestions above to make it even stronger.
