    This is an interesting shot, but lacks the critical focus on the eyes. Not easy, but that would improve it. Perhaps selective focus to sharpen them would work. This would benefit with a blended shot with focus on different parts.

    Pretty cool. I have to agree about the sharpness. I'd love to get my hands on one of those. Lens, not jumping spider :)

    Very dramatic looking image adcolon and agree with comments about eye sharpness. I added some local contrast using USM Amount 25% and Radius 60. I selected the entire eye including the eye rim. Hope you dont't mind. Not sure that I've improved it very much.
